岗位职责:

VPI (Value Package Introduction) Parts Product Specialist ensures that worldwide Customer Support for Service Parts is available when the first shipment of new engine / VPI product launches , and deliverables are completed on time to coincide with program launch dates and meet (or exceed) customer expectations.

Work with parts marketing and product planning to develop strategies for service parts. Help manage inventories and material procurement to establish infrastructure for the distribution channel. Optimize parts stocking and forecasting, develop parts expertise and ability to fully support all channels of distribution activities and technical response requirements.

Develop new parts and ReCon/Repair parts strategy.

Develop parts kit and set strategy.

Loading Parts Business System (PBS) PPIF database.

Initial stock inventory ordered, initial safety stock quantity is set, and on-hand at the Master PDC.

Issue ReCon parts (NX) requests on applicable parts.

Global roll-out of parts inventory - parts on hand at Master PDC locations as well as supporting regional PDCs.

Product field announcements.

Responsible for producing, in coordination with the publications group, the Parts Catalog or option explosions on QuickServe Online

Strong background in engine manufacturing, engine parts, service support line of work.

A performance-driven and results oriented team player.

Cummins Product Definition / IMS experience is preferred

Strong analytical, cross-entity and leadership skill.

Good English skills
